to protecting consumers and families from products that pose a fire, electrical,
chemical, or mechanical hazards that can injure children.

safety. This document discusses playground surface preparation, materials, playground
hazards, and design of many common playground equipment. In particular we note that
it mentions durability of materials which suggest that a commercial playground be
chosen over a residential quality playground.

and performance standards for various types of public playground equipment. It's
purpose is to reduce life-threatening and debilitating injuries. The range of users
