to install. You can do it yourself or with a work party. The simple bolt together
system (all attachment holes are pre-drilled and counter sunk) makes it nearly impossible
to install incorrectly or in an unsafe manner.

because of the following reasons:
- All of the attaching holes are predrilled and countersunk for safety and ease of
installation.
- All posts are numbered for reference.
- Detailed installation manual gives clear descriptions of each installation step,
with photos to guide you.
- Detailed structure drawing showing placement of all activities and indicating
the direction of the vertical beams.
Our factory trained installers are available to answer your questions Monday through
Friday. No other company goes to these lengths to make the product installation
so simple and straight forward for the customer.

The installation cost of a commercial playground runs anywhere from 28% to 35% of
the retail price of the structure. Installation on a $15,000.00 play set would typically
be around $4,500 - $5,000.
You can normally install a play set in 2-3 days with 3 people and just basic hand
tools, saving thousands of dollars!
Here are to tools you'll need to build your new playground:
- shovel
- tape measure
- rake
- wheel barrow

- hammer
- rubber mallet
- ratchet (with 5/16" socket and 9/16 " socket)
- digging bar

- 5/8 " tap drill motor
- 2' - 3' level
- 3/8 " drill bit
- can of upside down spray paint

FAQ
How deep do the beams go in the ground?
30 inches less the depth of the ground cover.
How much room do I need?
The area needed for the play structure plus 6 feet around the play structure for
a safe play area.
What is the hardest part of the DIY Playground installation?
Digging the holes!
What is the most important part of the installation?
Making sure everything is level, plumb and lines up properly.
What is the biggest mistake you can make?
Cross threading the bolts as they go into the pipes. If that happens you must rethread
them with a tap. This is spelled out in great detail in the information provided
when you purchase.
How do I start?
Make sure you have enough space then take a can of upside down paint and using the
guides provided, mark on the ground where the beams will go.
Does it take any special skills?
It just takes the ability to use a level and a tape measure. Assign someone to be in charge
of the installation. Make sure that person reads all of the installation instructions.
What do I use for ground cover?
There are several appropriate materials such as wood chips, rubber chips and rubber
tiles. Ground cover is an extremely important safety element, and should be included
below and around the play structure.
